Bristol suspension bridge

The way they crossed horses across the River Avon before the famous Suspension Bridge. Interesting fact that Siobhan and I learned from the Bristol suspension bridge museum: that the bridge could tolerate the weight of 1 jumbo jet plane or 225 horses.... or 300-or-so of us two combined. They use tablets made from deer urine to dissolve snow on the brisge in a way non-corrosive to the materials of the bridge. And look at all the jobs listed in the announcement below as being present in the opening parade in 1864: hatters, coach makers, ancient order of foresters and shepherds etc. ... even independent order of oddfellows! What would the equivalent march be full of today? Web designers, bankers, lawyers, illustrators etc?!
