UCSD Blue Latitudes

Great to see these projects that we worked on these with the brilliant team at Nomint last September and October released online now. This one is Blue Latitudes, one of a series of three spots for the University of San Diego in the USA.

These were really interesting to work on because of using 2D traditional frame-by frame drawing techniques to create the illusion of 3D rotations. There were some great 3D models made by Camille Ferrari to reference and some After Effects compositing magic as always by Tony Comley. Our animation team included the brilliant Barry Evans, Zoe Matzko and myself. I also enjoyed being brought in at the stage of the animatic for this film.
