Weaving pattern experiments III

A spontaneous experiment, I started part-way through this sketchbook with a colourful pattern of drawn and collaged texture and colour, then cut a window out onto it from the previous page. I continued to draw, collage and cut backwards until I reached the front cover, and then returned to the starting page and worked forwards from there. Seeing the book as perhaps a metaphor for life, I'm intrigued that despite thinking to myself that I would continue to the back page, I never got round to that. I'm also happy that leaves me plenty of blank life pages to fill - the so-called "fertile void" of the unknown future?
