Motion graphics trends for 2018

Looking to widen my animation repertoire in 2018 I have been starting to investigate motion graphics and came across this great list of what is trending in 2018:

1. Mix of 2D and 3D - like this paper cut out look in PayPal stellt sich vor

2. Seamless transitions - good example: 2nd Milk by Chris Anderson

3. Lettering and typography - like the brilliant example above Curiosity by Dan Palmer

4. Liquid Motion - see this best of compilation and this text example.

5. Grain & noise - e.g. The Confidante, also great example of seamless transitions

6. Quality animation - brilliant example The Complete Animade Lernz
